2011 Detachment 927 Bylaw Review and Changes

We are asking all members of Detachment 927 to review and make suggestions to our proposed bylaws that will be discussed and voted on at our July 2011 detachment meeting. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat reader to read the file.

November 18 – Applebees Dining to Donate Fundraiser

Marine Corps League Detachment 927 and Applebees of Flemington, NJ will be teaming up for a Dining to Donate fundraiser on Thursday, November 18, 2010.

Take the attached flyer to the Flemington, NJ Applebees located at the Home Depot Center – Route 202 and Commerce Street on Thursday, November 18 between 11AM and 11PM and 10% of your total will be donated to Marine Corps League Detachment 927 to assist local charities in Hunterdon County.  For more information, contact Mark Paradis @ 908-236-8464.

Membership Drive and Fundraiser

Marines of Detachment 927 will hold a membership drive and fundraiser on Saturday and Sunday August 21 and 22, 2010 at the Super Wal-Mart in Flemington and Wal-Mart in Whitehouse Station from 9-5.

Funds raised for this event will go to assisting Marine Corps League Detachment 927 and assisting local charities in Hunterdon County.

Proposed Detachment Logo Change

After a bit of discussion and feedback, we have a proposed logo for the Detachment to review.  Our thanks to Rob Lopshire of Lopshire Photography for his time and talents in providing the mock-up.  Discussion on the logo will be done at the March Detachment meeting.

Modifications based on feedback being received -
